I am trained to utilize EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Gottman’s couples therapy. I use somatic and mindfulness-based psychotherapy for trauma stabilization and mental health. In my sessions, I provide safety and empathy in a non-judgmental environment through therapeutic clinical conversations, thereby influencing cognition positively. I create a space for your validation and to resolve enmeshed unresolved challenges related to past experiences. As the saying goes, there is always light at the end of the tunnel but sometimes it’s inconceivable to reach there, I will meet you where you are in you are in that journey and help you to move forward with hope and healing to reach where you want to be.
Together we will work on emotional regulation, self-care, and coping strategies with mindful awareness. We will explore how presenting concerns can change your story and relationship with self and others. Along with my established private practice, I work as a Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician in a hospital setting. I am fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu and basic working knowledge of Gujrati and Bangla. I have a deep understanding of cultural diversity.
