We are only human- we all struggle with anxiety, low mood, relationships or self-esteem issues that often leave us feeling stressed and overwhelmed. I offer secure, on-line, walk and talk, and in person sessions. With a genuine, emphatic and personable style, we can work together to identify unhelpful patterns of thoughts and behaviors and to set achievable and clear goals such as feeling happier, healthier and empowered. In my practice, I have worked with both adolescents and adults for more than 10 years, focusing on personal awareness and building skills for navigating life stressors. My work with individuals draws from modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma Informed Practice.
I am a pretty good negotiator and love a good bargain! I can also cycle a bike no-handed
My go-to for selfcare:
Walks in nature, bubble baths, bike rides, and spending time with friends/family.
If I could be anywhere in the world right now:
I would be on the ocean side in a wooded cabin, followed with a fire pit at night to roast marshmallows.
